Prevail began in the swamps of small town South Carolina in 1994 played all over until 1998. They played emotional hardcore punk that would later be lumped into the screamo genre. You can hear metallic, scratchy guitars with personal and political lyrics. The “Curtain Call” CD discography was released in 2001 and documents the history of the band’s growth. In 2025 the band began playing again and writing new songs. King of the Monsters Records, who released their original LP, has another vinyl discography in the works. Left over CDs from the 2021 pressing. (Hanged Hero Records #2)
